Notes for NOBUGS 2008 Participants

Air travel

Sydney has one international and domestic airport, Kingsford Smith.

Ground transport

It is approx $60 taxi fare and 40 minutes to travel from the airport to Cronulla. Cronulla is also connected by rail to Sydney Airport.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at the conference hotel. There have been 50 rooms booked for check-in on Sunday 2nd November and check-out on Wednesday 5th November. When you book, ask for the ANSTO NOBUGS rate of $190 per night, which includes breakfast.

Food at the conference

Breakfast is provided at the hotel as part of the room booking. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are included in the conference fee. The evening meal on Tuesday 4th November is included in the conference fee.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held on Tuesday, 4th November at the restaurant in the Rydges Hotel.

ANSTO tour

A tour of ANSTO, specifically the neutron scattering facilities operated by the Bragg Institute, will be an option on Wednesday, 5th November at 2pm, leaving from the conference hotel.
